So where do we start? I think we've got a good group of people, 6 of us in all, people ive never really spoken to before, so should be interesting! What immediately come into my head is some random 'island' style imagery with make believe creatures and plants, and it all just seems a bit too rubbish to be taken seriously. Group work was good to start with, because while i was having these visions of crap country's, we had a interesting chat and came up with some things that i never would have on my own!

STARTING IDEA:
'What makes a country great?' This is what we asked ourselves, and discussed what we all thought. Our main points were: citizens/identity/ leaders/government.
From these, we allocated era's in history for each of us to go and research and discuss what we thought were the most significant and effective features in history that make England its best. - 40's music - 50's visuals - 60's atmosphere - Art deco - Medieval costume - Victorian architecture/engineering/industrial revolution.
'Where would our country be?' Where would the strangest places be that we could call a country?
- Flash Mob -- Different ways of enforcing beliefs and views.
- Squatters -- Protesting (loopholes)
- Club night -- Hold an event? -- Consider details/decoration. IMAGERY
Animals -- not reality?
Flags
DOCUMENTATION
Factors of our country: -- Lasts for 1 hour
-- 'New' England
-- Utopian
We need Advertising -- Gradual stenciling? Abstract symbol, use for flag?
