Kuniyoshi

My boyfriend and I went to the Kuniyoshi exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, the other day. General reaction, FANTASTIC!! Even michael, who really doesnt know that much about fine art said it was amazing. For a Sunday morning, i was expecting to be in and out in like 20mins, but it was rammed! you almost had to fight to get a close look at the prints. it was such a huge collection as well, with original drawings too. I learnt quite a lot about printmaking, and the way its been done in the past. i didnt know too much about it beforehand, but each print has a full description of the piece and and detaial about how it was made etc. It really was inspirational!
